taptag gives you a permanent short link and QR code that resolve to a profile page you control. You may change where a tag points at any time. We keep the link working; you decide what is behind it.
You need a working email address to sign in. You are responsible for the content you publish and for keeping access to your mailbox — anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
No illegal content, no impersonation of someone else, no malware or phishing, and nothing that infringes another person's rights. Profiles are shown to strangers who tapped a physical object and have every reason to trust what they see, so we take this seriously: we may disable a page or a tag that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why.
A tag you buy is yours. There is no subscription attached to it and re-pointing it is free on any plan, including the free plan. If you stop paying for Pro, your tags keep working — you simply lose the Pro-only features.
Returns and defects are handled under [your returns policy / statutory period].
Pro is billed monthly and you can cancel any time from your billing page; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment fails we retry for a few days before anything changes, and we show you a warning in the dashboard.
We aim to keep the resolver up continuously, because a tag that does not resolve is a broken physical object. We do not promise a specific uptime figure, and the service is provided as is.
You may delete your account at any time. We may close an account that repeatedly breaks these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice so you can export what you need.
These terms are governed by the law of [jurisdiction].
